Have you ever been frightened when walking alone? Have you wondered what you should do if confronted by an attacker? Have you ever worried about home invasion?
Sgt. Kenneth Turley of the Macedonia Police Dept. and Vice Commander of American Legion Post 801 will be the guest speaker on Wednesday, April 6th at 6:30pm.
Some points that Sgt. Turley will discuss are:
• Situational awareness
• Listen to your gut
• Have a plan
• Fight to escape
The event is open to all women 16 years and older in the community. This will be a good time to learn or refresh safety techniques.
Due to the nature of the topic, no children please.
